Development of the Arrakis Web Portal, with the help of a great team. My primary focus is designing, planning and managing the development side of the Arrakis Web Portal. All of this requires close interaction within our team and with other teams. We work closely with the Micro-service Team, Test Team, Chris the Architect, Megan on the commercial side and Javier on the design side. I also spend some of my time developing backend data services for train data and messaging data. Working with databases is something I have always found an interesting technical challenge.

I have a passion for sports, playing many sports growing up. These days I play less and spend more time coaching cricket and watching my children develop in their own sports. Aside from sports, I also enjoy a wide range of other interests and am constantly learning something new.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have twin boys and watching them grow up together is a lot of fun.

I started as a Graduate Software Developer in 2020. I work on the front-end side of the Arrakis Web Portal with other Developers.

I enjoy hiking and long drives through scenic country roads. I like to play video games after work, and I love playing table tennis when I have the chance to.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I used to study to be a Chef before becoming a Software Developer.

I joined Nexus Alpha in 2000 and since that time have worked on different projects with different technologies notably TyrellIO using C#. When I first joined I created dynamic websites displaying real time data before that thing was even common place, coming up with our own solution to the issue. Currently I am working on the Arrakis Portal, developing it using Angular.

My name appears in gaming merchandise for the Lord of the Rings movie franchise.

Playing desktop RPGs and wargames, and running a YouTube channel on the subject.

My Role at Nexus Alpha
I started at Nexus Alpha in 2019, as my first job out of university, and during my time here I have trained up to become a proficient Angular front-end developer working on the ARRAKIS Portal.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I am an avid gamer! I’ve been playing games for as long I can remember and they truly are a passion of mine. I mainly play competitive shooter games at the moment, but I’m also learning to create games of my own!
I’ve made multiple cosplays for one of the video games that I play, and have travelled to conventions in Atlanta to show them off!
