Test Manager
I joined Nexus Alpha in 2005 as the first test engineer for the business, initially responsible for the formal testing of our software solutions. After the first year I was promoted to Test Manager and tasked with creating a test team within the company and to build a test environment to replicate the companies live systems. There are now currently 8 experienced Test Engineers in the team I manage, all of which have been with the company for many years. The test environment has expanded over the years, as more complex systems have been developed, and now consists over 200 virtual and physical machines providing replication of any part of our production environments.
My Role at Nexus Alpha
I enjoy DIY and have learnt many new skills since renovating my house which I purchased derelict in 1994. I qualified as an electrical test engineer and have learnt to plaster among other useful skills. I also try to keep fit by walking at least 10k most days. This started as running for a few years but as the joints started creaking, I succumbed to a more sensible fast walk! At almost 6 years since I started, I have recently reached the 10 thousand mile milestone.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
During a family holiday to Greece, it was agreed my wife would be responsible for packing on the way out and I would be responsible on the way back. At check-in on the way home we were surprised the weight of our luggage was significantly lighter than on the way out. It cost £125 to have a full wardrobe of clothes sent back to the UK. I've never been given that responsibility again.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have a wife and two children, both girls, when I'm not looking after them I enjoy cooking, listening to music, getting outdoors and socialising with friends.
Saritha Burugupally
Senior Software Test Engineer
I've been with Nexus Alpha since 2007 and my role is to Identify test conditions, develop test scenarios, documenting and executing the tests, and report and retest the issues and retest to ensure that the product is being built correctly and that it meets customer specifications.

Anand Guntupalli
Senior Software Engineer

Started working with Nexus Alpha since 2008 in the QA team to ensure desktop, mobile and web applications are fit to the purpose. Build, deploy and maintain test environments on a daily basis to adhere to the continuous integration and delivery. Learning, adapting and implementing the latest technology to improve the quality of the software and bring advanced user experience to the dynamic changing industry standards.
My Role at Nexus Alpha
Fulfilling my childhood passion for motorbikes, rides, track days and spending time with fellow bikers at bike cafes. Every year enjoy doing couple of treks, long walks and charity runs with friends and colleagues. Also enjoy my summer time in allotment growing my own veggies.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Bass singer in the church choir and every year participate in the Christmas concert.

Satya Merugu
Senior Test Engineer
I initially joined Nexus Alpha in 2007 as junior level software tester reporting to Mark Branscombe. I worked for over a year with the company and then later, after a gap of few months, I re-joined in 2009. I worked on JourneyCheck initially and then moved onto different products of Nexus Alpha’s to the latest of Arrakis. My role is to ensure the quality of the products and check they meet the client requirements without any issues.
My Role at Nexus Alpha
I follow different kinds of sports - mostly cricket and sometimes tennis & football. Also I like travelling and visiting places. I enjoy listening to friendly conversations and discussions in team outings.

My fun fact
I drove into a lamppost in the Rochester office car park thinking no-one noticed me..but I was caught by Mark Branscombe and Rob later in the day.
Sricharan Nisankararao
Test Team Leader

In my role as a Test team Lead for Nexus Alpha over the last 13 years, my responsibilities include planning, estimating, scheduling, managing, and performing testing activities.
My Role at Nexus Alpha
My interest in good photography began in the last few years when I was walking long distances. I am truly in love with this hobby as I learn more about it.

My fun fact
When I was in school and college, I used to sing, and also participated in a few inter-college competitions.
Liz Nuhiu
Assistant Test Manager
I have been working at Nexus Alpha within the Test Department since 2014. I have been Assistant Test Manager since 2017. I support the Test Manager in managing the test team's work and also assist with testing our products before they are released to customers.
My Role at Nexus Alpha
I like to run (slowly!) and swim. In the summer I like to take the swimming outdoors and occasionally go kayaking with my son. I also enjoy baking when I get time.

I have been part of the Nexus Alpha family since 2009. Within the test department, my responsibilities lie in helping deliver quality product to our customers.
